Portrait of a woman

Excavated in 1909 in the entrance corridor of the Terme di Nettuno.
Date: c. 140 AD. H. 0.185.

The band around the hair points to a princess. It has been suggested that this is a portrait of Faustina the Younger, in the guise of a deity.
