Funerary altar of Lucius Caltilius Diadumenus
Provenance unknown. The tomb of the family is known in Ostia, see the topic The Caltilii.
Date: 140-170 AD. H. 1.29.
The front is dominated by the portrait of the deceased. On the upper part, on the corners, are masks. Below the portrait is the inscription:

DIADVMENO
VIXIT ANNIS XXXV
L(ucius) CALTILIVS EUHODVS
SENIOR LIBERTO
OPTIMO FECIT
L(ucius) CALTILIVS DIADVMENVS HIC CONDITVS
