Statue of Narcissus or Ganymede with inscription ΦAIΔIMOΣ

Excavated in 1800 by Robert Fagan, possibly in the round hall of the Terme dei Sette Sapienti ("from a caldarium, in a niche decorated with mosaic").
Date: second century AD? H. 1.23.

Part of a fountain. The inscription is on the tree stump on which the figure is leaning. Phaidimos is the name of the Greek sculptor of the original.
