Portus - 18 Severan horrea

This building is situated at the corner of sides I and II of the hexagon. Like structure 16 at the opposite corner to the west, it was incorporated in the city wall, like a tower. There are two rows of three rooms flanking a west-east running corridor. The latericium walls contain a row of bipedales that was painted red. The building has been dated to the Severan period.
