Regio I - Insula XI - Portico I,XI,4

The portico is to the west of the Temple of Rome and Augustus. Along its east side are four brick columns with marble capitals. The columns were probably covered with stucco imitating marble. Behind the portico is a row of five shops. They were erected in brick in the period of Hadrian.
