This is a very large Trajanic bar (c. 14.50 x 9), that was modified in the fourth century. It is situated to the north-west of the large courtyard of block I. It is a rectangular room, with doors in all walls. The widest door (1.42) is in the south-east wall. In this wall are also five windows. There is another window in the south-west wall. Next to the door in the north-west wall a basin was set. In the centre of the room are four piers. The bar counter was set against one of these. It contains a basin in which two lead pipes have been preserved. There is also a water basin outside the room, to the north-east. |
