This Trajanic building is situated in the north part of the large courtyard of block I. It consists of two separate wings, containing small rooms. The lay-out is reminiscent of the central units of the Garden Houses, with apartments back-to-back. There are three doors in each of the long outer walls (one is blocked). There is no upper storey. The building most likely consisted of a maximum of six apartments, which could be combined. Commercial activities, for example use as offices, cannot be entirely excluded. Unfortunately virtually nothing has been preserved of the inner walls. |
