This is a row of four Hadrianic rooms (opus mixtum), to the north of the House of the Columns (IV,III,1). On the remains of the east wall of the north-eastern room, accessible from the southern stretch of the Cardo, are three marble column bases. Do they belong there? The funerary inscription of Publius Celerius Amandus (EDR080739) has been attached to one of the walls. |
