Against the north-west facade of the Sanctuary of the Bona Dea (IV,VIII,3) a curved basin (preserved height c. 1.00) was set in the last quarter of the third century AD (opus latericium). The outside of the basin is lined by travertine blocks with a gutter and holes for a grating. It is not clear whether this was a true nymphaeum with niches, or a simple basin or trough.
