Urn of Titus Valerius Sardonychus with Endymion and Selene (11)

Found in the Area Sacra dei Templi Repubblicani (I,XV).
Date: first half of the third century AD. H. 0.24, diam. 0.29.
To the left of the inscription are Selene, Hypnos and Endymion, to the right is a shepherd with his flock of sheep and a dog. The urn was taken care of by the sister of the deceased, together with a man (Ostesia and Ostesius are to be understood as Ostiensia and Ostiensius).
