Statuette of the bull Apis, dedication by Caius Cartilius Euplus (164)

Found in the Santuario di Attis (IV,I,3).
Date: Antonine. H. 0.75, l. 0.58.
Between the horns is the solar disc with rays. The animal refers to the bull sacrifice (taurobolium), but also to the sign of the Zodiac.
