Regio I - Insula VIII - Caseggiato I,VIII,4

This is a row of Hadrianic shops, with a small workshop or habitation in the south-east part. A corridor in the south-east part led to the first vestibule of the Horrea Epagathiana et Epaphroditiana (I,VIII,3). High up in the east wall of this corridor is a white marble slab (h. 0.39, w. 0.44) in a terracotta frame. Presumably something was painted on it.
