Regio II - Insula IX - Edificio II,IX,6

This building, a row of rooms to the south of the Great Warehouse (II,IX,7), has been numbered separately, but is usually discussed in relation to the store building: it has been suggested that the row of rooms was related to the store building, and used for administrative purposes, perhaps also as habitation for the workers. To the south of the porticus in front of the rooms are a few structures that have not been studied yet. A few basins led to the suggestion that a fulling mill was operated here.

Plan of the building and of the area to the south. After SO I.
