In 1914 a watchtower was discovered to the north-west of the confluence of the rivers Aare and Rhine, at the locality Leuggern-Im Sand-Felsenau. It measured 7.90 x. 8.20 m. and had walls that were 1.20-1.30 m. thick. In the interior a layer resulting from fire was found. The remains are not visible at present.
