Remains of a villa were encountered in 1956 in Rekingen, to the south-east of Bad Zurzach, at locality Ruchbuck. To the west were bathing rooms (13-15). Among the finds was a support for a table or similar furniture, made of limestone and decorated with a lion's paw.
