In Sonceboz, between Péry and Tavannes, at the locality Tournedos, a stretch of road was found in 1992. The oldest road was made of wood, attached in recesses carved into the rock. The original road might be older than the Roman period. Later a road was made in the rock, with two grooves, 1.07 m. apart.
