Near Troinex, on the road to Bossey, a large stone was found with a relief of four figures, known as the Pierre-aux-Dames. The original is now in the Musée d'art et d'histoire in Genève, a copy can be seen on the Place de la Mairie in Troinex. The relief is much worn, but two figures can be seen to hold a vessel or beaker. We may see four goddesses associated with a crossroads (quadruviae), or three seated mother goddesses (matres) and, to the left, another deity or a worshipper. The stone was probably already of religious significance before the Roman period, but the relief has been assigned to the Roman period. Nearby four graves were found with seven skeletons.
