Villas - Jura - Alle-Les Aiges

Between 1990 and 2001 a granary was excavated to the south of Alle, at the locality Les Aiges. It consisted of a large hall with two annexes. The grain was stored on a raised floor, originally supported by beams, later by narrow stone walls. Remains of various cereals were found. The granary was rebuilt several times, also after a fire in the third quarter of the third century. The building was abandoned around 350 AD.
