In 1904-1905 the main house of a villa was excavated partially in Dulliken (to the east of Olten) at the locality Wilberg. The excavated part measured 56 x 29 m. It had a large central hall (12) with on the north side a porticus (5). To the east bathing rooms were added (6-11). Two rooms to the west had a hypocaust for heating (1, 3). Numerous fragments of wall paintings were found, which were taken to the Historisches Museum in Olten. The villa seems to have been built in the late first century, and used until the first half of the third.
Plan of the villa. Von Gonzenbach 1961, Abb. 46.
