In 2011 remains of a villa were excavated in Eclubens, a bit to the west of Lausanne, at the locality Les Blévallaires. The rooms of the main house were arranged around three sides of a courtyard with a porticus. On the fourth side of the courtyard was a wall. To the south and south-east two subsidiary buildings were found. The villa was built in the first century and may have been used until the third.
