TOMB 75 and 76 (continuation) Tek

Above the entrance of the burial chamber of tomb 76 is an inscription on a marble slab
of 32 x 54 cms. Only the right side of the plate was used, the left side is empty:

M(arcus) ANTONIVS
PIVS AEMILIAE
MAIORICE ET
COMINIO SILVA
NO CONCESSV IN
TRANTIB(us) PARTE DEXT(ra)
LIB(ertis) LIBER(tabusque) POS(terisque) EOR(um)

In this inscription Marcus Antonius Pius allows Aemilia Maiorica and Cominius Silvanus
to be burried on the right side for those entering, together with their freed slaves and
the descendants.
