This building is situated to the west of Via di Iside, at the edge of the excavated area. It was erected in the Hadrianic period (opus mixtum). It seems to have been a commercial establishment with a staircase leading to apartments above. The entrance to the fourth room from the north is flanked by yellow engaged brick columns in a facade of red bricks. This suggests that it was a vestibule of the space behind, where later small baths (IV,V,6) were built. |
