Tomb 143 (Trajanic-Hadrianic)

This tomb is outside the area that is open to visitors. Calza does not provide a description. In a tondo in the centre of the ceiling is Mercurius. Around the tondo are winged heads and kantharoi. In the four corners are personifications of the Four Seasons. Directly below the vault are swans and vessels. A peacock can be seen, birds, and in the central niche of the back wall a standing figure.
