Tomb 57 (Severan)

Extensive remains of paintings were found in this small, freestanding columbarium (the interior measures only 1.45 x 1.34). Red and green bands frame panels with a yellow background. In the central niche in the back wall, framed by green columns, is a heroized deceased man, holding a lance. To the left and right of the niche are winged Victories wearing purple mantles.
