This is a commercial complex from the Hadrianic-Antonine period, on the corner of the Decumanus and Semita dei Cippi. It consists of shops and work or storage areas to the south. The road in front of building 3 was spanned by four arches, which may indicate that this building and the House of the Cistern (I,XII,4) on the other side of the street were a functional entity. In the fourth century exedra I,XII,3, built on top of the House of the Cistern, blocked the road (Semita dei Cippi). |
