Brickworks have been excavated at various locations in Aargau: in Kaisten at the locality Ritannen (discovered in 1967), in Kölliken at the locality Gerberrain (discovered in 1922), in Hunzenschwil-Rupperswil, working for the fortress at Vindonissa, and near Kaiseraugst at the locality Liebrüti, active for the fortress there.
