In 1916 Josef Villinger investigated the remains of a villa in Döttingen, to the south-west of Bad Zurzach, at the locality Sunnenberg. No publication followed. The notes were published by Katrin Roth-Rubi and Alfred Hidber in 1996. In one of the rooms a raised floor was found, so perhaps there were bathing rooms in the building.
