In 1975 a small part of a villa was investigated in Neuenhof, to the south-east of Baden, at locality Oberdorf. A courtyard was found, surrounded on three sides by small and long rooms, only 3 meters deep. A few steps in the north-east corner of the courtyard led to a cellar. The finds are from the first to the fourth century.
