Villas - Basel-Landschaft - Oberdorf

Between Oberdorf and Waldenburg a few rooms of baths were excavated in 1943 by W. Schmassmann. On this spot, at Bad Oberdorf, is a mineral spring that has been known for centuries. In the middle of one of the rooms a basin was found, 1.25 m. deep and measuring 4.30 x 3.00 m.. It had a few steps on one side and a bench on the opposite side. Nearby was a second basin, preserved only partially.
