In the temple complex so-called curse tablets of lead were found. The text could still be read on three of these. The first was found in the cella of the northern temple. It was perforated with a nail in order to enhance the magical effect. Cybele, the Great Mother of the Gods, was invoked to assist in the returning of a stolen cloak.

To the Mother of the Gods. May be in pain
the person who stole my cloak on the Ides
of July, so that for [---] years that person is

[blind?], poor, lame,
crippled, until that person
[---] places that cloak in your temple.

The second tablet was found to the east of the northern temple. It is a tabula ansata. On this one the thief of a lamp was cursed.

from your servants:
Whoever broke open the warehouse
of Catullina
in Lindomagus, or the window,
or the cushion
of Asiaticus, and whoever stole
his lamp, and whoever
is an accomplice, and whoever
maliciously

deceives, may he lie
in ten times the urine, in the
same way that this
letter will lie
there.

The text of the third tablet is incomplete. Cybele was invoked again, and perhaps Attis was mentioned as well.
