The curse tablets The mithraeum Burial places |
In the temple complex so-called curse tablets of lead were found. The text could still be read on three of these. The first was found in the cella of the northern temple. It was perforated with a nail in order to enhance the magical effect. Cybele, the Great Mother of the Gods, was invoked to assist in the returning of a stolen cloak.
