In 1934 the main house of a villa was excavated near Osterfingen, next to Gasthaus-Weingut Bad Osterfingen. The building measured 48 x 27 m. Part of the west facade can still be seen.

The building stood on a terrace. It had two tower-like projections (B, F), one with three buttresses at the edge of the terrace. In room C and porticus D fragments of wall paintings were found. Objects emerged especially in room L: ceramics, fragments of glass vessels, and tools of iron and bone.
